New Hillary Ad: I'll Bring Your Voice To The White House
Hillary Clinton has a new ad in Nevada, in which she speaks in a soft tone about the problems facing America, and the efforts she will make to improve things if she's elected:
The ad definitely seems like it's part of an image makeover for Hillary — less authoritative and more vulnerable/human — in the wake of her upset win in New Hampshire, which many have credited to The Tears.

If the setup said that the Culinary Workers get special caucus sites at their place of work, while the others don't, they should have objected then, not now. The fact they are crying about it now just makes them look like whiners.
I still don't understand how Caucuses are constitutional, and why primaries aren't mandatory. Indicating your preference in public seems so Stalinesque.

There's a discussion to be had about caucusing in general but not in the context of defending the agreement that gives these workers their voice in the agreed upon process. [I caucused in Iowa, btw, and liked the participatory aspect.]

(link) Part of what I said to her was "Be yourself." I knew if she did that she stood a really good chance of winning. I've yet to see a check in the mail of course as payment for the advice, and I don't know if she even saw the letter. But this is what I was hoping for.

After watching the trillions of dollars sucked out of our wallets these last 7 years through crony capitalism, it's amazing that someone still believes this was a big issue.
Hint: whoever wins the White House will have overnight guests. It's just that the press won't report this unless it's a Democrat.

It's because the constitution doesn't regulate political parties, in fact, it doesn't even mention them. A party could make its rules such that candidates names are drawn out of a hat, or that the party leadership picks whoever they want, or that the senators get together and decide, etc. The only one who could make primaries mandatory is the party leadership itself (just as the Democrats have made the 15% cutoff mandatory and banned winner-take-all primaries). It's entirely the party's decision, not the constitution's.

BTW--go to slate.com today. Notice anything? Oh yeah, more Hillary hating. It goes on and on from all sides. Obama supporters are claiming she perpetuated the 'race' issue, when in fact it was just the media playing out a tired story, writing their own headlines as usual.
