Poll: McCain Leads In Florida
The new Strategic Vision (R) poll from Florida shows John McCain holding a lead in the big state, though it's not yet known how Mitt Romney's victory in Michigan — not to mention this weekend's contests — could shift the momentum. Here are the numbers, compared to the last poll from December:
McCain 27% (+12)
Huckabee 20% (-1)
Giuliani 18% (-7)
Romney 17% (+4)
Thompson 10% (+0)
Paul 5% (+1)
The Florida GOP primary is winner-take-all — whoever has the plurality will win all 57 delegates, in addition to the momentum boost going into Super Tuesday.
Meanwhile, here are the Democratic numbers, although this rogue primary has been stripped of all Dem delegates, and the candidates aren't campaigning here:
Clinton 45% (-3)
Obama 39% (+8)
Edwards 11% (+5)

11 point positive net swing for Obama in a state he hasn't set foot in. Not too shabby.
I'll just say that this is certainly bad news for Hillary Clinton's hopes of a Feb 5th crushing blow to Obama. And if he wins both the Nevada caucus and SC's primary, who knows what'll happen then.

Romney is the classic snake oil salesman. He talked about what the people from Michigan wanted to hear and preyed on their fears. In every single state he has changed his message and the electorate does not yet know who the real Romney is. This is a one-trick pony (changing messages) that if nominated will hand the election to Hillary. The Republican Party establishment would be wise not to pin his hopes on Romney as he is not a nationally viable candidate. They will lose with him as Romney does not stand for anything substantial.

Well, let's all hope that Rush Limbaugh has the same proctologist as Glenn Beck!
That's all I gotta say.

I'm pleasantly surprized about Obama's big jump in FL. That seems close enough not to really matter for super-Tuesday.
Like many others, I wonder what John Edwards will do if he doesn't win either Nevada or South Carolina. I understand that some of his support may have swung to Hillary in New Hampshire but it seems like most of it would go to Obama as the most pro-change, anti-Hillary candidate running. If JE drops out, Super Tuesday looks good for Obama.

What next? Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson both drop out and run off to Key West together. Wouldn't that be a howler!
But first they stop off for a few races at Hialeah. You know, J. Edgar's favorite old hang...
Good ol' Rudy: America's Transvestite.

Why is no one asking the candidates or polling voters on impeachment?

Warmongering McCain and his 100 yr wars and illegal immigration bill McCain-Leiberman is just nothing but a Social liberal. How in the world can he even be on the conservative republican ticket is beyond many of us to understand. And Now huckabee wishes to ammend the U.S. Constitution to "Fit with the Bible" is so scarey it isn't funny! Not to mention his using taxpayers money to help his charity to give illegal aliens welfare/foodstamps and free education. We only encourage illegals to oome here. Both of these men are LIBERALS and there is nothing consevative about them other than their name "NEOCONS".
